The primary end consumer for our Wholesale products is the agriculture market — in particular, growers of grains, oilseeds and other crops who want to enhance crop yields and quality. Agricultural buyers account for about 85 percent of our Wholesale sales.

Agrium Wholesale has production and mining facilities in North America, South America, and Egypt. We have storage facilities throughout North America, South America, and Western Europe, and distribute our products globally.
North America
Agrium Wholesale operates in 22 provinces and states, with sales offices in both Calgary, AB and Denver, CO to better service the regional needs of our large consumer base.
South America
We operate in Argentina through a 50 percent joint venture in Profertil S.A., giving us excellent access to other South American markets including Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay.
Egypt
In Egypt, we own a 26 percent interest in the Misr Oil Processing Company (MOPCO) facility, one of the lowest cost operating facilities in the world with direct access to major markets in Europe and North and South America.
Europe
Agrium Europe is one of Western Europe’s largest fertilizer distribution companies. With its head office in Brussels, Belgium, Agrium Europe operates through subsidiaries in France, Germany, Belgium, the UK, Italy and Bulgaria, and it also markets products in Spain, the Netherlands, Ireland, Greece, Denmark and South America.
Potash Sales outside North America
Agrium Wholesale markets its international potash sales through Canpotex Limited, an offshore marketing agency for the three major Saskatchewan potash producers. Key potash exports markets include China, Brazil, and India.
