Caring for Our Watersheds ™
Teaching environmental awareness and fostering stewardship is the key to encouraging the next generation to think of the environment as part of everything it does. We all are environmental decision makers.

The Caring for Our Watersheds ™ contest for local high school students challenges participants to develop effective ways to preserve and improve the environment. 

Alberta's Promise

Shelter-in-Place
Shelter-in-Place is a short-term strategy for dealing with chemical or radiological contaminant disaster. It is an internationally-used safety program for taking immediate shelter where you are — at home, work, school or in between — usually for just a few hours.

Ducks Unlimited Canada Wetlands Projects
Agrium works on projects to protect and restore wetlands in conjunction with Ducks Unlimited Canada. One example of success is at our Vanscoy facility in Saskatchewan. We constructed small islands for the birds to nest in. Now, several years later, thousands of birds migrate to Vanscoy to feed on a healthy population of aquatic life.
