Particular Schooling
My students were inmates (they like detainees) in a boys’ jail (aka Honor Camp) ruled by many guards (or probation officers.) I realized much within the four years I taught there. Interventions commonly take the form of questioning, listening, giving info, explaining some phenomenon, demonstrating a ability or process, testing understanding and capability, and facilitating learning activities (reminiscent of word taking, discussion, assignment writing, simulations and observe).
